DENVER, CO – Today, Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser’s people-powered campaign for governor announced that it has raised $4.63 million, which includes $827,500 in the fourth quarter of 2025 (Oct. 1 to Dec. 31), according to the latest campaign finance report. The campaign has nearly $3.5 million cash on hand and continues to have the best early fundraising showing for any non-self-funding gubernatorial campaign in Colorado history.

“We are building a historic people-powered movement, and I am proud to be the grassroots candidate in Colorado’s governor’s race,” Phil Weiser said. “We don’t have out-of-state billionaires behind us; we have the people of Colorado powering our campaign and responding to our commitment to fight for Colorado and to always show up, listen, and deliver results.”

In Q4 of 2025, Weiser officially eclipsed former Gov. Bill Ritter’s 2006 fundraising total of $4.3 million. With five months still remaining before the primary, Weiser has already climbed to the second-highest fundraising position of non-self-funding candidates in Colorado history – trailing only former Gov. John Hickenlooper’s 2014 total of $5.4 million.

Highlights from Weiser’s Q4 campaign finance report include:

  • $3.47 million cash on hand
  • $827,500 raised
  • 92% of donations are from Colorado residents
  • 78% of contributions are $100 or less
  • 6,100+ total donations

Highlights from Weiser’s total fundraising numbers to date include:

  • $4.63 million raised
  • 89% of donations are from Colorado residents
  • 73% of contributions are $100 or less
  • 24,400+ total donations

The latest campaign finance report comes after Weiser’s campaign announced it has officially secured more than 200 endorsements, earning the support of more current and former state and local elected officials than any other candidate in the race – including Weiser’s primary opponent, U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet.

Since the campaign’s launch, support for Weiser has surged, growing from 89 endorsements in March 2025 to more than 200 in less than a year. Today, Weiser has more endorsements from current and former governors, state legislators, mayors, city and town council members, county commissioners, and law enforcement officials than his Democratic primary opponent.
