Denver, CO – Today, Attorney General Phil Weiser’s campaign for Governor of Colorado announced that it has officially secured more than 200 endorsements, earning the support of more current and former state and local elected officials than any other candidate in the race. The announcement marks a major milestone for the campaign and comes exactly one year after Weiser announced his bid for governor.

Since the campaign’s launch, support for Weiser has surged, growing from 89 endorsements in March 2025 to more than 200 in less than a year. Today, Weiser has more endorsements from current and former governors, state legislators, mayors, county commissioners, law enforcement officials, and council members than his Democratic primary opponent, U. S. Senator Michael Bennet.

“I’m honored to have the trust and support of more state and local leaders from across Colorado than any other candidate in the governor’s race,” Phil Weiser said. “As Attorney General, I’ve always showed up and fought for communities in every corner of our state, and the growing support for our campaign from the public servants on the front lines in their communities is a testament to my track record of serving and delivering for the people of Colorado. As governor, I’ll continue to fight and show up for Coloradans every day.”

The campaign also highlighted other key milestones from the past year, which included:

  • Pushing back at every step against the Trump Administration’s lawlessness
  • Receiving 23,500+ total individual donations
  • Securing the endorsements of four sitting governors, including Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey, Washington Gov. Bob Ferguson, North Carolina Gov. Josh Stein, and Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro
