It’s time to reinvigorate Colorado’s economy and create good-paying jobs across our state. As governor, partnering with business and labor, I will:
- Recharge our business environment by:
- Promoting our state – to any and all who will listen – as an ideal place to start and grow a business and for employees to raise their families.
- Fueling innovation and growth in our key sectors from small business to tech to agriculture with creative incentives.
- Expanding access to capital for new and growing businesses, including with grants and microloans.
- Bringing businesses and workers together to solve challenges to our competitiveness.
- Growing economic hubs from Denver to rural towns ready for new investment.
- Simplify by:
- Reviewing all regulations, based on costs and benefits, and removing unnecessary burdens.
- Streamlining processes for those getting started and working hard to grow.
- Appointing a Chief Innovation Officer to bring new ideas and efficiencies into state government.
- Launching a Business Navigator to guide entrepreneurs through starting and scaling a business.
- Invest in:
- Our workforce, expanding job training, apprenticeships, and career pathways aligned with employer and worker needs.
- Housing, childcare and health care, helping workers live near their jobs.
- Infrastructure, improving transportation, broadband, and public safety.
- Our land, air and water, keeping our communities safe and thriving.
