Phil Weiser Unveils First General Election TV Ad
Ad Will Appear Statewide on Streaming Platforms, in Grand Junction and Colorado Springs on Cable and Broadcast

DENVER, CO – Today, Democratic nominee for governor of Colorado Phil Weiser’s campaign unveiled Plan, the first TV ad in Colorado’s 2026 general election. The 30-second spot features Phil speaking directly to the camera about his plan to build 40,000 affordable starter homes for first-time buyers, ensure the health care system doesn’t rip off Coloradans when they’re sick, and make it easier to start and grow a business. The ad will appear statewide on streaming platforms and on cable and broadcast TV in Grand Junction and Colorado Springs beginning Monday, Sept. 21.
The announcement comes ahead of Club 20’s Western Colorado Candidate Debates in Grand Junction on Saturday, where Phil will once again appear on the debate stage – just as he’s done for every election. His Republican opponent, Victor Marx, however, has refused to show up – yet again.
“Coloradans are getting squeezed by the cost of living, it’s too hard to start and grow a business, and we aren’t investing in our kids’ futures. Colorado needs to do better – and we can,” Phil Weiser said. “As governor, I’ll deliver housing and health care we can afford, build a stronger economy and brighter future for the next generation, and protect our rights and our kids. As our next governor, I’ll bring people together and build a better future for Colorado.”
