FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Denver, CO – February 6, 2025 – Today, Attorney General Phil Weiser’s campaign for Governor of Colorado announced that it has raised more than $1,000,000 from 2,917 individual donors. Weiser announced his bid for Governor on Jan 2, 2025.

Weiser’s gubernatorial campaign also received a transfer of $157,000 from his Attorney General campaign committee (the maximum allowable under Colorado law) – bringing the Weiser for Governor campaign’s fundraising total to $1,161,754. Weiser’s campaign does not accept contributions from corporate political action committees (PACs) or corporations.

“We’re excited by the overwhelming support we’ve received from all corners of Colorado,” said Weiser. “It means so much that our supporters stepped up so strongly in such a short time to help us build powerful momentum for the work ahead. This support enables us to mount a top tier campaign—one that engages Coloradans across our state and listens to communities.”

The campaign also announced another round of supporters from current and former political leaders across the state, led by Honorary Campaign Chair and 39th Governor of Colorado Roy Romer.

“I am impressed by how hard Phil has worked as Attorney General,” said Romer. “He understands how critical it is to know our state, to meet people where they live, and get to know how they see the world. He listens and gets results. That is what will make him a great Governor, and I’m proud to support him.”
