Position Title: Field Organizer
Reports to: Political Director
Location: Colorado (extensive in-state travel required)
Employment Type: Full-time for the duration of the campaign
Role Summary: The Field Organizer is a core member of the campaign’s grassroots operation, responsible for executing day-to-day voter contact and volunteer organizing across Colorado. This role is designed to build, mobilize, and sustain a statewide field program through phone banks, postcards, canvassing, and county-level coordination.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
Field Program Execution
- Execute weekly phone banks and canvasses, including volunteer recruitment, training, and management.
- Distribute call lists, scripts, and canvassing materials; ensure volunteers are prepared and supported.
- Maintain consistency and quality across all voter contact programs.
Volunteer Recruitment & Engagement
- Recruit, onboard, and retain volunteers across phone banks, canvasses, and other organizing activities.
- Conduct follow-up outreach to deepen volunteer engagement and development.
- Oversee our Team Phil Field and Political fellows
County & Regional Coordination
- Maintain regular communication with core supporters and regional organizers.
- Support execution of local organizing plans, events, and outreach efforts.
Data, Tracking, and Reporting
- Track volunteer participation, voter contact metrics, and organizing activity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in campaign databases.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with the communications and digital teams to amplify campaign support, events, and organizing efforts.
- Work closely with political, communications, and digital teams to align organizing efforts.

Experience and Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and research skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Google Suite and familiarity with campaign tools (NGP/VAN or similar systems) a plus.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel across the state.
- Spanish fluency or additional language skills are a plus.
- Experience in political campaigns, advocacy, or community organizing (internships or campus organizing experience welcome) preferred.
Compensation
Salary Range: $4,000–$4,750 per month, commensurate with experience.
This is a full-time, exempt position for the duration of the campaign.
